DOPA DASH is a color party rhythm arcade. The city has gone gray and bored; you dash through it on the beat, and every gray friend you boop turns neon and joins your party. Nobody gets hurt here. Even the bosses end up dancing with you. Everyone's invited.
Each district of the city is its own music scene, from disco to phonk to drum and bass, and every level is one song, one goal and about a minute of play.
How to play
- Tap to dash. Dash on the beat for a PERFECT; perfects in a row keep your streak and your score climbing.
- Boop gray friends to paint them and add them to your party. Booped friends follow you, so keep moving.
- Fill the DROP meter, then stay on the beat through the count-in and PARTY TIME starts. Make the most of it.
- Clear the level's goal before the clock runs out. Leftover time turns into paint and points at the finale.
Modes
- Party Tour: six districts with ten levels each, a boss in every district, and up to three stars per level, painting the city map back into color as you go.
- Free Party: open play for chasing your best score.
- The Daily: one shared challenge each day.
- The six districts: Disco Plaza, Phonk Garage, Funk Rooftop, Amapiano Alley, Jersey Club and Hyperpop Galaxy.
Why we made it
We wanted a switch that changes your mood in a minute rather than a way to kill time: no enemies, no chat, no paid random boxes, and runs that end cleanly. Boop the boredom.
