KAI'S GREEDY LOOP is a one thumb arcade game about greed and letting go. Kai, a small pilgrim in a cracked stone mask, runs a ring of stone that never ends. Behind him trails a growing line of strange little creatures he picked up along the way. Ahead of him, walls.
The longer the line behind you, the more a release pays, and the more one hit takes away. Every run ends the same way, and every run is worth it anyway.
How to play
- Tap to switch lanes. One lane per tap, and at the edge lane the direction turns back.
- Hold, then let go, to dash head first. The dash smashes whatever stands in your lane and sets your creatures free, and that is where the points come from.
- Wait longer for a bigger release, but a wall hit costs a horn, half your line and half the points you have not released. With no horn left, the next hit ends the run.
- Break the gate at the end of a world and fall into the next one.
Worlds and creatures
- Six stages, each lit by one thing: The Moss Ring, The Pale Tide, The Spore Hollow, The Magma Field, The Spine, and The Tear at the bottom of the world.
- Fifty five strange creatures to find, each with its own silhouette, kept in your bestiary.
- World rankings for score, creatures freed and the longest run.
- A Steam version for Windows and macOS is planned for October 28, 2026.
Why we made it
One rule, two inputs, no two runs alike: we wanted a game you can understand in a second and keep learning for months. It goes around. It is worth it. It opens again.
